dc.description.abstract The article says that constitutional order of the Republic of Croatia which gained independence in1991 is based on the principles of freedom, peace, democracy, equality, respect for human rights and freedoms and the rule of law. The decisions of the Constitutional Court established by Constitution in 1990 due to the author’s opinion have been continuously contributing to democratization of the Croatian society fullfiling its task of the guardian of the Constitution. ru_RU
