dc.description.abstract This study examines the relationship between gender equality and organizational culture and its impact on company performance. Also, special attention was paid to the peculiarities of the development of a woman's career in Kazakhstan and possible barriers that may be encountered on their way, such as discrimination, stereotypes, inequality in pay, and so on. The problem in question has been little studied so far: many studies examine possible internal factors of gender inequality in the labor market, such as organizational structure and work-life balance, without taking into account external factors using social theories and studying the influence of the media. Using a qualitative method and conducting in-depth interviews with women, it was revealed that females at work are still discriminated against and are not taken seriously by men. It was also found that it is more difficult for women to get a job due to their possible imminent maternity leave. These research results require further analysis and undertaking practical measures to eliminate inequality in Kazakhstan. ru_RU
